Why does a professional detail cost more than a backyard detailer?

It is a completely fair question: why might a professional charge $500 to $600 for a comprehensive detail when a local backyard detailer is offering to do it for $150 or $200? The stark difference in price comes down to accountability, the caliber of the products used, and the sheer depth of the work.

Great job, great service! Jeff’s done both our cars now, he’s punctual, polite and lived up to his name, my MU-X looks amazing considering how bad it was between dogs and kids and a pig muddying up the side! Highly recommend 👍
